In the 2005, published the first demo, called 'Skjaersild'. This demo consisted of two tracks, reaching last approximately 15 minutes. For personal reasons the group was stopped almost two years, and by 2007 it released the second demo. 'Damned Roots' consisted of three tracks, being only the first the only one who could say it fits more in the style of metal, since the other two are made for piano themes.
Again, the group was forced to stop for another long time, this time about three years. Finally, in 2010 came out the third demo, 'Yggdrasil', consisting only of two tracks of Ambient Black Metal.
In December 2011, Syx joins Skjaersild as a vocalist and songwriter, but only during one month before that Skjaersild split-up.
Finally, in March 2012, Skjaersild becomes active again with a stable lineup, formed by Khalvst ov Mhurn and Kane Bittruf as a vocalist, songwriter and all instruments player. Kane Bittruf also plays in Morn Guruth band.
Now, Skjaersild is currently recording vocals for their previous demos, and changing their style from Ambient Black
Metal to Depressive Black Metal / Ambient.
